I must say that most of the fishing records do not have any documentary evidence (video and photographic materials). We have to take the sources at their word. So we do not undertake to answer for the reliability. But there is common sense, which helped to drop absolutely fantastic records.

The largest pike was caught in Lake Broadoud, Ireland. This "grandmother" weighed 43.54 kg. In Russia, the largest specimen of pike was caught in Lake Ilmen and weighed 34 kg.

Usually zander it weighs up to 8-10 kg, but in large rivers, especially in the lower reaches, as well as in large lakes, it grows to a solid size. In several European countries, the facts of catching pike perch weighing up to 20 kg are officially registered. But the largest pike perch, according to unverified data, was caught in Russia on the Volga and weighed 40 kg.

Standard perch weight 100-300 g... Specimens of 1-2 kg are much less often caught. But in the rivers and lakes of Western Siberia, such giants do not constitute a very big curiosity: at present, huge perches weighing 4-5 kg ​​are caught. The largest perch weighed 6.5 kg and was caught in 1985. In 1996, a perch (female roe) weighing 5.965 kg was caught on Lake Tishkin Sor in the Uvat District of the Tyumen Region.

The result is a delicious fish, fragrant, with a slightly fried crust! You can garnish it with potatoes or rice, we, as a rule, prefer potatoes.

Once a week as a child, our parents prepared fish soups for us. Most of all I liked the fish pickle, which my grandmother cooked in the Russian oven. It was a rich, fragrant, incredibly tasty pickle.

Grandma had her own recipe for this soup. She cooked it with pearl barley, which she previously fried in a dry frying pan until golden brown. After frying, the taste of barley acquired its own notes, and these notes were transmitted to the whole dish. She put only large cucumbers in pickle, with seeds. And it was pickled cucumbers. And also added a little cucumber pickle. Fish pickle languished in a Russian oven on fish broth. The grandmother did not put fish in the soup when cooking, but served it in a separate dish on the table. Everyone took in their plate as much as they wanted. The fish was mainly river: pike perch, pike, crucian carp, burbot.

I prepared the same pickle in fish broth, which was cooked from the heads and tails of carp and pink salmon, I also put a piece of trout and small pieces of perch.

Ingredients

  • Fish - pink salmon, carp, perch, trout (to taste)

For the fish pickle, fry the pearl barley in a dry frying pan until golden brown.

Then we take out the fish from the broth, filter the broth and cook the pickle on it. Add potatoes, fried onions, carrots, cucumbers, pearl barley to the fish broth, salt to taste, add spices for the soup (to your taste) and prepare a delicious dish.
